Pastor Andy Ropp

Pastor Andy and his wife, Tandy, moved to Central Florida in 2014 following Andy's retirement from the US Army after 27 years of service.  Andy is ordained with the Assemblies of God.  Andy and Tandy have two adult daughters, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter.  Andy and Tandy became active members of Calvary First Assembly soon after arriving in Florida in 2014.  In February 2017 the congregation elected Andy to be their Senior Pastor, and now Andy counts it a great privilege and honor to serve this congregation as their pastor.  

Youth Pastors Brett & Vanessa Gilbertson

Pastors Brett and Vanessa joined our team in January 2017.  They moved to Florida after Brett served an enlistment in the Army, and are now excited about following God's call to full-time ministry.  Brett has a degree in music from the University of Arkansas (and plays an active role on our worship team), and Vanessa has a degree in Deaf Ministries from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.  Both are passionate about serving the youth of our church and community. They are blessed with a beautiful daughter, and are expecting another child (boy) in July 2018.

We are a gathering of believers in Jesus Christ who are learning and striving to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength; and doing our best to love others as ourselves.  (Mark 12:28-31). We are a family who gathers regularly at our “Family Reunion” to share in the “Potluck” of encouragement, praise/worship, prayer, fellowship, and Gospel.

We are a collection of sinners saved by His grace, who long to share the Good News of God’s love with others.

Our mission is to grow in the faith, love, and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; to become mature in our relationship with Him, so that we are grounded in truth; and thereby be able to speak truth in love through our words and deeds.
